- SSusanAnchorage / Alaska •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoI’ve long been a fan of the food at Z’Tejas - I used to go to their Tempe location near ASU and the one in the mall at Scottsdale. Some things that are good that have remained good: the food! Their shrimp tostada bites (app) is beyond delish! The bite-sized tortilla chip they are on is light and crisp and it’s served with guacamole, aioli and a seasoned, grilled shrimp. Serving was 8, now you get 5 for $14. Definitely Yum! The mushroom enchiladas were delish as well as the ancho chili fudge pie! Words can’t describe how yummy it is!! Things that have changed- service. Our server was nice enough but didn’t offer us the complimentary cornbread that comes at the start. After our dessert he mentioned it. He only checked back once, didn’t give refills (asked someone else) and he told us the seasonal veggies were squash - but we received Brussel sprouts (yuck!). Paul the manager did comp us the dessert (at my suggestion) which we appreciated. It used to be served with a generous dollop of handmade whipped cream. It was also cold in the restaurant. I would still give it a shot again & hope for better service.More infoZ'Tejas - ScottsdalePrice: Moderate• Tex-Mex• Central Scottsdale•4.3
- JJaneVIPPhoenix / Arizona •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe service was fantastic! They have "build your own sandwich" on the menu. You can pick your own protein, bun, toppings, and side dish. I ordered grilled chicken breast and my husband had a burger. Delicious and a great value. Classic rock music was soft enough to allow conversation. We highly recommend the Pinnacle Grill!More infoPinnacle GrillePrice: Moderate• American• North Scottsdale•4.5

- DDavidPhoenix / Arizona •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024I’ve been here a few times, and have always felt it was alright, nothing great. This time I was pleasantly surprised. The chips and 3 salsas were good, and everyone got the carne asada. This is a grilled rib eye delivered in a mesquite smoke dome. It was really good! I will definitely be coming back!More infoChico Malo - PhoenixPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Central Phoenix•4.6
