Best Restaurants for Spicy Food in Brookwood Hills

Excellent service, food was hot and timely even during an evening rush

This restaurant is a hidden gem. We discovered it only last year when we were looking around for a place to host an event. It has a beautiful, enclosed garden area and a nicely decorated main dining room with a water feature. The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center where there is plenty of free parking. This time we came for dinner on my birthday, and we arrived early - 5:30pm is their opening time or we would have come earlier. Mary O, our server, took excellent care of us. The wine lists are amazing and moderately priced. Mary O let us try a couple of wines before I decided on a glass of dry Reisling from Mosel, Germany and my husband got a glass of Sauvignon Blanc from France. Both were excellent. For our entrees, I chose the Coconut Thai Salmon, which was delicious with the coconut sauce and mushrooms, and my husband loved his French Country Supper with duck. We shared the bread pudding for dessert.

Had a great time at the Capital Grille. I sat at the bar while there for a lunch. Noah was the bartender and provided great service. The filet was incredible — I got it medium with the Parmesan truffle fries. I’m definitely coming back.

Very good, consistent and moderately priced. Good value for the amount of food you're given. Very nice staff that work there as well.

I have enjoyed dining at Reel many times and am always very happy with the food and service. When you go, I recommend their perfect seafood gumbo. So good!
