Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Sloans Lake

We dined there for the first time last night to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We were greeted by our server with a card that was signed by the chef and all of the staff which was very sweet. We were so surprised to see how large the portions are. The family style sides were huge and a great value. The whipped mashed potatoes are hands down the best potatoes we have ever had. Truly. We are still talking about them. The only complaint we have- and it’s a very small one- is the open seating in the main dining room. We were very close the diners on either side of us and we could not have a private conversation. We booked only a week before, so I’m not sure if booking out earlier would have helped, or if there are more private booths. All in all, we had such a wonderful time. Our server was phenomenal, the food was sublime (go for the Filet Flight, you won’t regret it) and it has become our favorite already. Better than Shanahan’s and Del Frisco’s which are our usual go-to’s for steak.

Wonderful dinner. We ordered lamb and scallops- both cooked to perfection. Wonderful service too.

We just love this place and, again, it did not disappoint. The seafood pasta special was new for me and the shrimp bisque sauce made it perfect.

Our experience was amazing! The food was fantastic the drinks were amazing, our server was the best! Cannot wait to go back!!
