- NNatalieSan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined todayIt takes a lot for me to be impressed on every level but I cannot say enough good things about Elvira. From the outstanding service to the knowledgeable staff to the quality of the food and drinks. Wow! We were started off by a great male (manager maybe?) who was super thorough with my food allergies and knew everything about the menu. I had: - the vegan caccio Pepe with gluten free pasta- WHICH IS HOMEMADE and so so good. The best gf pasta I’ve had in San Diego. - vegan mozzarella caprese salad was also so good for being vegan. Super fresh, flavorful tomatoes. - gluten free pizza: the crust is homemade and so realistic tasting/texture that it’s scary! Haha. I had vegan cheese also on that- you could hardly tell drinks: the Italian red wines were delicious. Also had a few drinks from the cocktail menu: the fig jam mezcal cocktail (What a COMBO! ♥️) as well as the white Negroni YUMMore infoElviraPrice: Moderate• Italian• Ocean Beach•4.9

The extra dirty martini was the perfect amount of dirty. Ribeye well seasoned, good char, and medium rare with a nice truffle mash. My favorite was definitely the roasted burrata. Even the bread paired with it was sensational. Don't miss out on the happy hour. Prices are phenomenal and some apps half off. And since the food gives you an extra pep in your step, you can power shop knowing you can try on clothes with a little extra room for the long haul wear 😉More infoThe Amalfi Llama - San DiegoPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• University City/Golden Triangle•4.5
- GGiovannaSan Diego •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely enjoyed every minute of our dining experience. Everyone was nice, knowledgable, friendly and professional. We were given time to enjoy starting with drinks, our appetizers were fresh, full of flavor and will definitely have them on our next visit. Our main courses were full of flavor, the pizza was delicious, some of the best that I have had in a long time. The pasta was fresh with generous portion ( enough to bring home for lunch). Everything was well presented and full of flavor. Ended the evening with coffee and dessert, left fully satiated and looking forward to our next visit.More infoIsola La JollaPrice: Moderate• Italian• La Jolla•4.8
