Helmand Restaurant offers Afghani dishes with a wood-burning oven where the famous flatbread is cooked on one side of the room and an intimate fireplace is on the other side.Helmand Restaurant entrées include tasty choices like qabelee, which is pallow rice baked with chunks of lamb tenderloin, raisins and glazed carrots or mantwo, a homemade pasta shell filled with beef and onions. If you like spicy dishes, try the koufta challow, consisting of beef meatballs with Afghan seasoning sautéed with sun-dried tomato, hot peppers and green peas in a fresh tomato sauce. We are currently open seven days a week. Saturday & Sunday we are open with an All Day Menu. Reservations can be made on our website, or through OpenTable. Due to the intimate nature of our dining room, if you would like to make a reservation for more than 4 guests, please give us a call at the restaurant. We hold reservations for a 15 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running late, we will do our best to hold your table but cannot guarantee it. Due to the size of our dining room, we do appreciate 1.5 hour dining experiences for parties of 1-2 guests, 2 hours for parties of 3-4, and 2.5 hours for parties of 5 or more guests that book reservations.     Daniel and his team have the best pizza in town. Our family loves Source - this visit was to celebrate my husband's birthday - and the meal did not disappoint.     Dinner with my son, such a lovely time. We love coming here the food is always great! Best ever is our favorite mushroom toast, delicious! We ordered the clam pizza with fontina cheese which was perfect and also my favorite the grilled swordfish over bits of butternut squash in a creamy sauce. Oh and don’t forget to order the sourdough ice cream for dessert. You will not regret! Can’t wait to dine here again.

    Great dine-in / takeout pizza! We had the Meatball & Ricotta pizza and it was outstanding. The chicken BBQ pizza was equally good. Fast and friendly service. Family friendly and fun atmosphere. Nice location and pretty easy street parking. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
