Inspired by the wood-fired Robata grills of Japan, Mizu offers a refreshed take on live-fire cooking atop the Hyatt Centric in the heart of Charlotte’s SouthPark neighborhood. Opened in August of 2021 and named one of 2022's "25 Best New Restaurants" and "50 Best Restaurants" by Charlotte Magazine, the rooftop restaurant by Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) combines the traditions of ancient Japanese cooking with Southern influences and Asian flavors.     I’ve lost count of the number of times I have had the opportunity to dine at Roosters (and looking forward to dining at the next location in Ballantyne). The food is always outstanding and a step above what most good restaurants in Charlotte have to offer. Staff members always have the best attitude and advice and make it a real pleasure to dine. My wife and I (and family) have any special meals at Roosters. Love it!!

    We had the BEST time at flour shop. The service was unparalleled. The server said they ran out of the two wines we suggested, and brought us a different one but kept the original price of the bottles we were looking at. So nice. And he was incredibly attentive. It was a fantastic meal out and highly recommend! We ordered a bunch of pasta dishes, the sea scallop risotto and lamb chop. All excellent.

    Another wonderful meal for 4 of us! Love the bar area and restaurant too! We had drink in the bar before being seated and it was spot on with a lovely server. The meal was delicious and our server, Wesley was perfect! Great service that was very connected and personal! It was packed so the noise level was higher than the last time we were in, but it’s Christmas! We’ll be back!

    Mizu is a must visit place. The menu is unique and you can taste the quality ingredients. Our server Resy was patient & kind. There is valet which takes away any parking stress. Most surprisingly it is not super overpriced! I love it here🥰
