Best Live Music Restaurants in Yorkdale

Everything about this place is amazing—the atmosphere, the service, the drinks, and, of course, the food. Pria was our waitress, and she was so sweet! It honestly felt like she should’ve been eating with us. My friend and I had the Wagyu truffle wontons, and they were incredible. I was visiting from Nova Scotia and tried them on my last night in Toronto—it made leaving even harder. Until next time, Ultra. I’m coming back for three orders of those wontons!

Family dinner, 7 of us and everything was perfect. The wine suggestion, the service, and every plate, appetizer, mains and dessert was presented well and tasted amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful definitely will be going back.

Michael was great, very knowledgeable, pink sauce rose linguine Pasta with lobster was supreme, my son loved the rib eye steak, mushroom risotto was excellent. Do not leave without tasting the mint lime pinnacle cotta and grape sorbet, very delicious. I just wished the focaccia bread would be fresher and affogato be available next time. The restaurant is spacious and well appointed. Downstairs can be noisy, with a bar area TV and later live music. The menu has a good range of selections, the service was excellent. Very friendly and easy going staff. We had 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes and a shared dessert. The food preparation and taste was excellent. Some dishes are quite expensive. The large private parking lot was very convenient.

I had the pleasure of dining at Joni Restaurant yesterday for a Christmas dinner with my son, and it was truly a memorable experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive, warm, and professional. The chef’s menu was outstanding, featuring creative dishes that were both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and festive, but I couldn't help but feel that a touch of Christmas music—perhaps soft background tunes or even a live band or singer—would have elevated the holiday spirit even further. It was the only element missing from an otherwise perfect evening. Thank you to the entire team at Joni Restaurant for making our Christmas dinner special. We will definitely be back
