Great spot but very loud. Enough so that it was difficult to hear those across the table we were both talking with.

Superb, as usual. The carrot sformato was an unusual find and quite delicious. The addition of olives to the blood orange and fennel salad hit just the right acid note, Mama’s meatballs were pure beef with a strong dash of anise seed, and the accompanying marinara had been simmering for ages to pick up that deep complexity of flavors and great balance between sweet and slightly acid.

My son and I went here on Christmas Eve night to celebrate my upcoming birthday on Christmas day. Micheal was our sever, and he was attentive from the moment we sat down. In fact, the entire staff was! The moment we walked in and said we had a reservation, we were treated special. The atmosphere was amazing. The found was outstanding. I recommend the ribeye cooked to perfection "blue" as I like it. The sauce for the barbecue prawns was so good! I had to request more bread for my son to clean the bowl. It was that good! He had no complaints about his king salmon. One of the gentlemen there saw that my son was wearing cream and white, and he came to tell my son to be careful with the sauce because it stains. Low and behold, my son had a spot on his shift, so the gentlemen immediately returned with soda water, and the spot came right out. He wanted to help my son because he said he ruined one of his shirts due to the sauce staining it. I will be back when I'm in town. I highly recommend this restaurant! Christmas Eve prix fix menu exceeded our expectations. Every course we'll prepared and tasty Service excellent. Lodge decorated nicely inside and out, but restaurant devoid of decor, a tiny bit of a letdown

My wife, my grown-up daughter, and I enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner at Palisade. It was all great: fast service leading us to our table (reserved ahead of time), excellent food, great view of the marina and downtown Seattle, and the food was served at a slow speed so we could enjoy a 2 hour dinner with good conversation. The price was higher than what we usually experience when we go to a restaurant for dinner. However, the price was as expected on a Christmas Eve at a first class restaurant.
