The Golden Bee originally came to The Broadmoor in 1961 as a collection of panels and fixtures from a 19th century English pub.     We had a wonderful lunch the day after Christmas. Had the French Onion Dip appetizer, Reuben, Fall Crunch Salad, portobello burger, and GOG Burger, and raspberry sorbet for dessert (various diners). All items were served hot and fresh and everyone loved their food. Compared to other fine dining venues, the prices are similar, so the incomparable views and ambience are essentially free. That makes the Grand View Dining room a bargain for a special meal. Highly recommend.

    We were not at all disappointed by our brunch today. The decor is festive and it's easy to check in and get settled. We weren't hurried along to make room for the next group, and everyone was very nice and welcoming. They also fixed an issue on our bill -- we were charged for 5 people instead of 4. The only thing I'd suggest is coming through with water more often. I was out of water for about 15 minutes. Otherwise, we are happy to continue making this brunch our Christmas tradition.

    Loved our dinner here at the Bee. If you have not been before, they throw a bee patch that sticks to your shirt. I had the lamb shank and it was amazing. It was crowded and a little noisy but it was right before Christmas so that was expected. We had a reservation and we were seated right away and our service was excellent. Definitely a must when at The Broadmoor.
