The last of its kind near 42nd Street, Chez Josephine is a neighborhood gem founded in 1986 by Jean-Claude Baker as a tribute to legendary Josephine Baker.     Our experience was great we celebrated Valentine’s Day the food that we order was the chicken parmigiana bits and the flat bread that was hard and had to much oil or grease we also ordered the maple crème brûlée and it was ok wasn’t the best and also the Dubai chocolate we were thinking it would taste like chocolate but instead it taste like dark chocolate with gold flakes but overall it was a great experience

    The food was amazing at Lulla! They have large portions which makes it a great value. We tried their Valentine’s Day fixed menu and everything was delicious. We will definitely come back here.

    The ambiance was perfect -low lighting, balloons on the table, piano player in the background. We liked the price fix menu options. Only the scallops were disappointing-chewy and not sweet. The crab cake, beet salad, sea bass and desserts were all delicious . Lana, our server, was gracious and attentive. My old fashioned tastes great but I prefer the kind with one big ice cube.
