- RRosemaryvipWashington, D.C. Area •160 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoVery much enjoyed our unconventional Thanksgiving dinner at Et Voila. Country pate, mushroom soup, beet salad: all delicious. Mains also good, especially the Carbonnade and skirt steak. Desserts outdid themselves: a layered pumpkin tart and "Alex" mousse cake. Our waiter was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Service was almost too fast: they were clearly trying to move through a big crowd on Thanksgiving day and courses came promptly. They also had a lot of staff to whisk away plates as soon as we were finished. It's a small restaurant and can feel crowded even without a crowd. But we'll definitely be back for the food and service.More infoEt VoilaPrice: Expensive• French• Palisades Northwest•4.8

- DDavidBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 4, 2024If you’re looking for a restaurant experience that blends fantastic flavors with a cozy, rustic vibe, this spot absolutely delivers! From the moment you step inside, the warm, earthy decor sets the scene for a meal that feels both comforting and exciting. The atmosphere is all about laid-back charm, with wood accents and soft lighting that make it easy to settle in and enjoy every moment. Now, let’s talk food—because it’s the true star here! Every dish is packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Each bite feels crafted with care, and you can tell the chefs take pride in their work. Whether it’s a hearty entrée or a delicate appetizer, the balance of flavors is spot on, making for a truly memorable dining experience. One tiny hitch was the spicy mezcal cocktail I ordered. It looked beautiful and started with a nice, smoky kick, but the spice level was a bit intense! If you’re into a big punch of heat, it might be right up your alley. For me, though, it was just a little too fiery, but that’s easy to overlook when everything else was stellar. Overall, this place is a gem for anyone who loves great food and a rustic, inviting setting. I’m already planning my next visit—and maybe trying a different drink this time!More infoThe Hunter's HoundPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Chevy Chase•4.1
