Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Kennett Square

My family and I go to Letty’s every week or two. The food is always great. Many of us get the steak fretes , which are the best around, including the top steak restaurants! The Cliftonian pizza is awesome! We prefer to sit in the bar area because it’s always festive with live music. Service is always great! Btw, we drive 30 minutes to go to Letty’s so that goes to show how much we love it there .

This place is a vibe and a half. 10/10 recommend for cozy hearty food that warms your heart

I lived in DE many years ago. I was there when Iron Hill opened. It was my favorite restaurant then and it is still up to that high standard. Everything was as I remembered; lovely atmosphere, good service and great food. Thank you not changing over all these years.

Love the outdoor, heated patio room. When I'm in Philly for business, I commonly take clients there. Relaxed atmosphere and able to have conversations without yelling. Great whiskey selection too.

We visited Iron Hill at 6pm on a Saturday night and were seated in the dining room. We made a reservation which was helpful because we were seated rather quickly. It was very busy that night and the acoustics in the dining room make it a loud environment when it’s packed. It can be hard to hear each other if you have a large group around you. Our server, Andrew, was down to earth and knowledgeable. He did not rush us and answered all of our questions about the beer and food menu. We ordered a few beers, the hummus appetizer, Margherita Pizza, OMG blt and the chocolate hill dessert. We never received our hummus but Andrew took this off the bill once our main food arrived. The kitchen looked overloaded and so did the staff. Our meals were amazing! I like the twist on the BLT adding the pepperoni with the mozz and pesto-mayo with balsamic glaze. Yum! The dessert - eh, not so much. The brownies seemed old and dry and we could not even cut into them with our spoons. We will skip next time. Overall it was a decent experience with yummy food and a wonderful server. If you’re looking for a quiet location to eat or have someone hard of hearing, this is not the place. Def recommend making reservations on the weekends!
