Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis. Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots.     The News Room is a great eating establishment. The bar is shaped like a ship, there are news articles as the wall paper, and the music is on point. Our waitress was very nice, the food was amazing. We had the tortellini and Angus steak round, oh and the chocolate torte! Yum!

    My wife and I had an excellent experience at the Beacon Public House. We were greeted by our hostess upon arrival and taken to our reserved table. Our waitress was Meili. She was super attentive and very friendly. We had ordered some appetizers and some cocktails to start off followed by a rueben sandwich with sweet potato fries. Very good. Meili stopped over to check up on things several times during our meal which was much appreciated. The restaurant is very close to UMn sporting events which makes this location ideal. After the game we attended, we came back for a nightcap. Our bartender Mara did an excellent job with our cocktails and was also very friendly. This restaurant has a great location, good food and an excellent service staff. We will definitely be coming back again.
