Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Costa Mesa

Everything we ate was fantastic but the ceviche and carrots were my favorite! Gabby, our server, was wonderful and helped make our night special. We sat outside for dinner and even on a chilly night, we had 2 heat lamps and felt very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Our female server was very pleasant and brought food so that we didn't feel rushed. We haven't been to this restaurant in a long time and will return. The food was excellent and served hot despite the huge crowd outside in the lobby as it was Valentines Day. We had the valentines surf and turf with salad and sides of mac and cheese and au gratin potatoes - everything including the extra large shrimp cocktail appetizer was tasty!

My husband and I come here often. Most times, we sit in the bar area. Tonight, we chose the bars hightop rather than the actual bar, because we wanted to have dinner and not just appetizers. The bar is lively during its peak times, and service is good, but the staff are stretched because they often times have just two persons serving drinks and food. They're friendly enough and are happy to grab you whatever you need, but be prepared to make it known that you want to order if you're not getting fast enough service. Request a restaurant menu if you desire more than appetizers. The prices are appropriate for this type of restaurant, and the food is decent enough, but you won't find fancy plating or unusual food preparations. They do the standard seafood grilling or baked preparations with added traditional sauces. The warm and crusty sourdough bread is off the hook. The bar area is quite noisy, so choose the back dining area if you don't appreciate loud music or the bar's liveliness. For those of you who pay with a credit card, know that there's an upcharge of almost 5%. I would advise you to bring cash if that doesn't thrill you.

We were there on a Thursday night. It was quiet and the ambiance was perfect for dinner with friends. The food is absolutely delicious and service was excellent. We will be back!
