- EErnestOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI’ve been coming to Vickie’s for years. It’s been about 8 years since I last made a visit. Valentines Day 2025 was my second visit in the last month. We will be back again on March first for another Bday celebration. I can’t think of a better place to dine in the desert. Our hostess Mercedes was amazing! She had great recommendations and was very friendly and attentive. We look forward to our next visit in a few weeks.More infoVicky's of Santa FePrice: Expensive• American• Indian Wells•4.6
- RRobertaPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had an early dinner at Jackslope Ranch. The food and service were both excellent. Draft Modello beer was cold and frosty. Nice! The waiter let us leisurely visit and enjoy the brew. No rushing us to order. The food was delicious. One person had a rack of baby back ribs. The meal was s huge serving with delicious ranch beans, coleslaw, and more delicious juicy ribs than he could eat. Another had ribs and brisket. Both juicy and delicious. Other BBQ places serve ribs that are dried out and tough. Not these! Both were tender, juicy and with just the right amount of BBQ sauce. I had the Rodeo Burger. Huge! Couldn’t begin to eat it all. Served topped with bacon, Ortega chili, and crispy fried mini onion rings. Along with sweet potato fries. All the food was delicious! We had a leisurely two hour plus dinner and a lovely evening visiting with friends. The noise level was very low which I particularly enjoyed! Jackalope Ranch is back with all the good things the previous owners had plus new additions. It was too cold to sit outside but I know what gorgeous grounds they have and can hardly wait to have dinner in their huge backyard when it warms up a little. It is the ranch/western Gem of Coachella Valley. You must try it!More infoJackalope RanchPrice: Expensive• Barbecue• Indio•4.2
- GGeriVIPMinneapolis - St. Paul •30 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had a lovely lunch at Larkspur Grill and highly recommend you give them a try. We came at noon and were seated immediately. The ambiance is peaceful and relaxing and we had a nice table outside. We ordered the lobster roll and the Larkspur Grill Wrap. Both were delicious and served with fries or a side salad. The fries were the best we have had here in the desert and the sherry vinaigrette dressing on the side salad was very tasty and light. Since our main courses were so wonderful - we thought we would check out the dessert menu. It was a tough decision as all of them sounded heavenly. We shared a Chocolate Banana Cream Pie which was plenty for two and also a big hit! The mousse was light and flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. We will be back to try more on the menu! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.More infoLarkspur Grill at HOTEL PASEOPrice: Expensive• American• Palm Desert•4.4

The short ribs were also extremely flavorful. Dodi, of course, is the ultimate hostess with a delightful staff.
