Sullivan’s Quay (pronounced, “Key”) or “Sullie’s Quay,” as it is known locally, is one of the oldest settled parts of my home, County Cork. The word Quay is actually defined: A wharf formed towards the sea or at the side of a harbour for convenience of loading or unloading goods.You will notice our dining room walls adorned with Murals of Architecture from the area of Sullivan’s Quay around the 19th century, when Jack Sullivan, whom the area is named after, patrolled the streets selling beer and wine to the local saloonkeepers. Wow! Amazing dining experience!!! If you haven’t been to Season in Glen Head you are missing out! The food, service & ambience were all top notch! We learned that Chef Joe Marchisotta is a world renowned Chef who has worked at all the top restaurants in NYC. He was so kind to come out from the kitchen to check on our table that everything was to our liking and has a wonderful personality! We will be back very soon!
