I love the servers here. They absolutely love to make you feel welcomed and happy. Came here for a date night, even though they were a little delayed/held back for our reservation, the wait wasn’t extremely long. And they made sure to make it up to us by providing free appetizer and dessert. 5/5 would recommend for a nice date night.

Some friends got married on short notice after thirty years together so we impulsively invited them to a celebratory dinner on short notice. It was also a third guests birthday. On the drop down menu, we called it a "special occaision" but to get special attention such as what my husband and I have enjoyed for our own anniversary last month, I should have chosen anniversary or birthday. Nonetheless, the service and food were excellent. The booth for five very comfortably seated us for light conversation with a view of the river for four out of five. From time to time some other guests were rather loud, but overall, for most of our meal, the noise level was low enough to converse in inside voices. In December, Salty's offered a reward for buying gift cards. I did so and highly recommend the ease with which I redeemed the rewards for our anniversary and used a good chunk of the gift card for this evening's dinner.

Then there’s Mark—the mastermind in the kitchen—crafting dishes that are nothing short of spectacular. Every plate is a testament to his skill and passion, with flavors that are bold, balanced, and unforgettable. Whether it’s a classic favorite or a seasonal special, each bite feels like a carefully curated masterpiece. Avanti isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a culinary haven where hospitality and artistry come together in perfect harmony. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional food and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family!

Our server was the absolute best. She is so friendly, personal, and has a great sense of humor! She was also extremely caring and attentive to our every request and question. I sincerely hope to have her as my server the next time I visit, which cannot be soon enough! The food was excellent, including great salads, pasta, and osso bucco. This was my first time seeing Kopke white port outside of Portugal, and there was a beautiful selection of wines.

A truly amazing culinary experience. Each course was presented by the Chef as a private tour of his ancestral country side. it was as if we were magically transported to romantically indulge our palates in the hills (and caves) of rural Italy. The wine pairings were a sublime engagement of our senses, elevating the complex layers of wonderful flavors into a chorus of decadent pleasure. Thank you for a memorable evening.
