Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Tigard

A group of friends that regularly get together at Marco’s really appreciate the wide range of options in the brunch and lunch menus. We enjoy the ambiance and service!

Some friends got married on short notice after thirty years together so we impulsively invited them to a celebratory dinner on short notice. It was also a third guests birthday. On the drop down menu, we called it a "special occaision" but to get special attention such as what my husband and I have enjoyed for our own anniversary last month, I should have chosen anniversary or birthday. Nonetheless, the service and food were excellent. The booth for five very comfortably seated us for light conversation with a view of the river for four out of five. From time to time some other guests were rather loud, but overall, for most of our meal, the noise level was low enough to converse in inside voices. In December, Salty's offered a reward for buying gift cards. I did so and highly recommend the ease with which I redeemed the rewards for our anniversary and used a good chunk of the gift card for this evening's dinner.

Our server was the absolute best. She is so friendly, personal, and has a great sense of humor! She was also extremely caring and attentive to our every request and question. I sincerely hope to have her as my server the next time I visit, which cannot be soon enough! The food was excellent, including great salads, pasta, and osso bucco. This was my first time seeing Kopke white port outside of Portugal, and there was a beautiful selection of wines.

It was nice but the staff seemed stretched thin. The music kept getting loud where I couldn’t even talk to my wife. The tables were very small trying to fit as many people in a very small place. The food was great but I felt like everyone was crammed in.

A truly amazing culinary experience. Each course was presented by the Chef as a private tour of his ancestral country side. it was as if we were magically transported to romantically indulge our palates in the hills (and caves) of rural Italy. The wine pairings were a sublime engagement of our senses, elevating the complex layers of wonderful flavors into a chorus of decadent pleasure. Thank you for a memorable evening.
