Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in St. Charles

Carmine’s provided a healthy portion for the prices, the service from all of the employees was outstanding. The food was wonderful and the experience was great.

Overall we had a great dinner experience with a good server. We really enjoyed most of the food we ordered. The mussels and goat cheese appetizers were very delicious. The swordfish fish and chips entree was loved by everyone at the table. Others at the table ordered the duck leg and Wagyu linguine and the short rib pot pie and they really enjoyed their entrees. The only dish that was less that expected was the wagyu flat iron steak as the teriyaki sauce was too salty and the portion size in comparison to the other dishes was too small for the price point. Overall we did enjoy our dinner experience and would dine here again.

Consistently excellent service, my mom and brother love the fajitas molcajete, I love the tacos but really, everything is good here. Few years back had the wonderful take on the arroz con pollo!
