- GGaryVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoBrunch at Sheldon Inn is always wonderful because the food is of the highest quality restaurant in Elk Grove, rivaling Boulevard Bistro. We had the Farmer's Breakfast, which consists of two eggs as you like, sourdough toast, bacon, ham,, linguica, and breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions. Everything was wonderful except the toast -- Sheldon Inn really needs to upgrade its toast to buttered wheat toast as at Black Bear diner, instead of that hard, difficult to digest sourdough toast a(without butter) that they serve. I almost choked trying toi eat it and it tasted like week old bread to me. The rest of the breakfast is wonderful, except for this one item that Sheldon Inn management really needs to change. We sat at a table in the bar, which does make it a bit difficult to hear others at your table but it is a nice and warm environment. We could not get into the dining room because of the Valentine Day crowd and the courtyard, which is so lovely and needly magical in the summertime, was not really a consideration, given the cool temperatures and rainy weather, which will continue likely for three to four weeks. Allin all, a wonderful Elk Grove tradition that I recommend to everyone in the Sacramento - Stockton area.More infoSheldon Inn Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Elk Grove•4.7
- JJaclynSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe dined here for dinner the evening after Valentine's Day, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. My husband had the Valentine's prix fixe menu, which was delicious and quite a good deal. I ordered an appetizer and main dish a la carte. We both ordered from the dessert menu. Our server Alek made suggestions for all of my courses, as well as our desserts and our drinks, and his recommendations were absolutely spot on. The ambiance and food were delightful, but Alek and the rest of the waitstaff especially made our meal enjoyable!More infoGrange Bar & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Sacramento•4.6

- BBartGreater Boston •10 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAs always, the ambiance was excellent. It was my 81st birthday dinner. I asked if their fabulous bread pudding was on the dessert menu this evening. The waitress said it wasn’t but she’d see what might be possible. Ten minutes later, out came a scrumptious plate of freshly made bread pudding. That is truly outstanding customer service!!More infoRose Park BistroPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Roseville•4.7
