Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Putney

I had a wonderful lunch today at Original Joe's. My server Sedat was outstanding and had great suggestions for menu items. I strongly recommend the Pineapple Punch (n/a), Joe's House Made Ravioli, and the Butter Cake. This was the best meal of the trip!

Amazing food and service. A little cold when the door opens all the time, but overall a wonderful experience and we're definitely coming back!

I wanted to be wowed but left feeling meh. Yes, it was a holiday prix fixe meal, and they were busy, but the food specifically was really sub par. I had the lobster bisque, which was lukewarm, and more like a gravy. I also had the prime rib, which came also cold, thin, and lacking flavor. Dessert was a creme brulee, which also was cold on arrival. I felt like everything was premade and not fired on order. Yes, somethings can be partially premade, but everything here felt like there was no interest in making sure what they served really reflected both the craft of the restaurant and the concerns for the customer.

The food and service was excellent. The sushi nigiri, rolls and sashimi were nicely prepared and well sized! Wide variety of Japanese whiskeys and mixed drinks. Love the energy of this place, inside and out!

I first experienced this restaurant chain in Barcelona and have enjoyed its California cousin. Unusual and delicious food, great service. Reasonable value.
