A little history on our namesake: The Linwood Hotel: John B. Pullis established the Linwood Hotel in about 1888. Located on the Southeast corner of South Clinton Avenue and Linden Place, the Linwood Hotel temporarily housed WW1 Navy flyers from the Bay Shore Aero Station while their barracks were being constructed. The Linwood was destroyed by fire on October 11, 1925.

Since 2006, The LakeHouse restaurant has been the jewel of Bay Shore, NY. In the summer of 2016, owners Eileen & Matthew Connors and Jay Gut moved locations to a brand new dockside treasure. With stunning views and multiple fireplaces, comfortable seating for 100+ guests, two lounge areas, deck overlooking the Great South Bay, and both an indoor tavern room and a waterfront bar, The Lakehouse is touted by many as “one of the best restaurants on Long Island.” At night, the deck is illuminated, as is the waterfront lounge area where guests can congregate for after-dinner cocktails. This New American fine dining experience is not to be missed.     Exceptional dinner. Our server not only knew their stuff but sold every item on the menu. A vast knowledge of the food severed. My drink was never empty. My stomach either. An absolute delight. I’ve never felt a better value for my buck. I wish I could recommend it more than I am now.

    Stellina is not your typical crowded Long Island Italian eatery where people go to be seen. Instead, it's like a café in Italy. The ambiance is wonderful, and the staff is easy to talk to and incredibly accommodating, taking care of special requests without hesitation. The food is fantastic—from the salads and wood-fired oven pizzas to the homemade pastas, Zuppe di Pesce, and lasagna. Stellina is worth the drive to Oyster Bay and is a standout.

    Beautiful restaurant very nice view overlooking the bay beautiful food presentation, quality ,and excellent pairings& combinations ….very impressive job done by the chef, wait staff extremely well dressed, courteous and always checking on you and yet not rushing you . I am looking forward to coming back again ,absolutely love this restaurant!!!!

    One of my favorite spots! The food is always great. Loved the grilled octopus appetizer, one of the best octopus dishes I’ve had! The meatloaf is so delicious and the fried chicken sandwich is a must! Absolutely beautiful ambiance!
