Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Beaverton

Some friends got married on short notice after thirty years together so we impulsively invited them to a celebratory dinner on short notice. It was also a third guests birthday. On the drop down menu, we called it a "special occaision" but to get special attention such as what my husband and I have enjoyed for our own anniversary last month, I should have chosen anniversary or birthday. Nonetheless, the service and food were excellent. The booth for five very comfortably seated us for light conversation with a view of the river for four out of five. From time to time some other guests were rather loud, but overall, for most of our meal, the noise level was low enough to converse in inside voices. In December, Salty's offered a reward for buying gift cards. I did so and highly recommend the ease with which I redeemed the rewards for our anniversary and used a good chunk of the gift card for this evening's dinner.

It had been awhile since our last visit, but the meals were superb and service staff stellar. A great way to celebrate V-day with the one I love. Must say, though the prices were slightly elevated, the portions were very satisfying. We were glad that 20-years later, it still has maintained its high quality dining.

It was nice but the staff seemed stretched thin. The music kept getting loud where I couldn’t even talk to my wife. The tables were very small trying to fit as many people in a very small place. The food was great but I felt like everyone was crammed in.

A truly amazing culinary experience. Each course was presented by the Chef as a private tour of his ancestral country side. it was as if we were magically transported to romantically indulge our palates in the hills (and caves) of rural Italy. The wine pairings were a sublime engagement of our senses, elevating the complex layers of wonderful flavors into a chorus of decadent pleasure. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Charmed the moment we walked in. Enjoyed attentive service while enjoying the tastiest food. My guest is a true foodie and she was purring! Thank you—we’ll be back.
