Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Our welcoming and eclectic atmosphere is appropriate for almost any occasion - whether it be meeting a friend for a drink, celebrating an important event, or relaxing after work. Jess our server was excellent and informative. We had heard good things but this was our first visit to Pino's and we were not disappointed. Appetizers were excellent...fried calamari and garlic bread. We each enjoyed our pasta dishes. We definitely recommend! Make reservations in advance as this is a local Point Breeze favorite!

Fantastic drinks and cocktails. Love the atmosphere on the bar side. The food is usually amazing - fried pickles were less crunchy than usual and the chicken sandwich was good- but not as outstanding as usual. Overall love the place. Hoping it was just an off day.

Soba lounge is excellent. We had two apps, three different entrees and 2 desserts and each was packed with flavor and beautifully plated. I recommend the rare tuna entree, the mushrooms on the appetizers - and the chocolate maki.

I had lunch at City Works to celebrate a milestone with a friend. It was the perfect space. I also asked for a quiet part of the restaurant so we could hear each other, and they found us the perfect spot. Food was excellent, service was great.
