- TTaffyNew Mexico •7 reviews5.0Dined todayWe returned for a second visit this holiday season; it was wonderful. Got adventurous and had the creamed corn. I noticed my daughters snuck more than an initial half teaspoon taste. It was very, very good. Not watery creamy. This had a nice texture. Try it! The prime rib was exceptional. I had the smaller portion. One daughter had the thinner slices. One daughter had the regular cut. All were sumptuous! Had a baked potato instead of the mashed. It was yummy. We ordered an apple crisp to share between the three of us. It was delicious with a nice amount of apple slices hidden under the topping and surrounded by the usual warm spices. Our server was great! She was friendly, attentive but didn’t hover. Thank you all for a wonderful evening! I may not be back for a while. Palo Alto daughter is moving to Duarte. CA this summer. If she needs help moving, we’ll have to do a farewell visit at House of Prime Rib. Again, thank you!More infoHouse of Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.8
- CCarlosTahoe / Reno Area •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHere’s the revised review: I had an excellent experience overall at Elena’s! The drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect. The bartender was awesome—super attentive and friendly. The busboys were amazing, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, they gave me better service than my waitress, who wasn’t quite on the ball. While her service left something to be desired, the rest of the staff really stepped up and made it a great night. Big thanks to the team at Elena’s for making it memorable!More infoElena'sPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Forest Hill / West Portal•4.7
- MMelanieVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoRegardless of whether you eat with your eyes or with your stomach, you won’t be disappointed. My husband and I had dinner here last night and we couldn’t be more thrilled. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous and the food is outstanding in every way. The menu is interesting and innovative. We enjoyed appetizers of Carne Crudo and Insalata Tritata which were absolutely delicious. Our entrees of rockfish and lasagne verde were perfect. We sat at the bar which was lively and festive considering it’s the holiday season. The staff is super friendly and the vibe is lively and fun. A definite must try if you haven’t already!More infoChe Fico San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Italian• North Panhandle / USF•4.7
- GGaryVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •61 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy group of 9 feasted on the delicious food, starting with the Polenta, Grilled Artichokes, and Bruschetta for appetizers. All were tasty, but the Bruschetta was over the top good. Most of us ordered the 3-course pre-fixe. My 1st course Burrata Prosciutto. Luscious, salty, creamy. My main course Lobster Ravioli. C'mon! Rich, creamy, with Shrimp and Scallops. And finished off the meal with the decadent, creamy Panna Cotta with Berries. The service was outstanding. The dining room was lively and filled with people ... on a Tuesday night! (Of course, it's the week before Christmas, but still.)More infoBella TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Richmond District•4.8
