- LLaurievipLos Angeles •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were greeted, seated and then treated to a lovely dining experience. We started with a couple of the specialty cocktails-Romarin and Nouveau Basilic: their pour was generous as our drinks lasted through our meals. A bonus of a basket of bread was brought to our table, such a rarity! Baguette, sourdough and what seamed a seasonal bread with cranberry and walnuts with beurre---seemed such a treat! Our waiter was attentive and made well informed dinner suggestions after asking us our preferences and we enjoyed the beef bourguignon; duck a l'orange and roasted chicken. Got the nutcracker old fashioned, fireside chat, snowglobe spritz and an Ornament globe. We got the fried pickles as an appetizer to share which were good. lightly coated to go with the spicy aioli! for our entrees, we got the lasagna burger (which sounds crazy but definitely taste like it) and the parisian sandwich which was fried chicken with a brie&cranberry aioli, gruyere cheese, apples on a croissant bun! their menu states that 20% gratuity is automatically added and then they charge a credit card processing fee as well.More infoCraftsman Row SaloonPrice: Moderate• American• Old City•4.6
- MMichaelNew York City •1 review4.0Dined 7 days agoWas overall good. Sat us at a table that should not have been a table. We were basically on top of another 2-top and in their conversation, and my wife kept turning off the lights accidentally because the light switch was directly behind her head. I had put in the reservation notes that it was my birthday, and it was never mentioned, and I thought where they sat us was not in line with what 2 people celebrating a birthday would want. Brought us Aqua Panna when they asked if we wanted still or sparkling. That always feels like a money-grab gimmick to me. The default should be to offer tap (which is also still). They include a 20% gratuity automatically, which is fine, but good to know going in. We had oysters and a Caesar salad to start, which were very good. My wife got the lobster ravioli special (delicious) and I got a burger. Burger was pretty good. Heavy on the fried onions. I ordered medium and it came out rare/medium rare, but still tasty. Will go back, but probably not for a special occasion.More infoJerry's BarPrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Northern Liberties•4.9
