Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu.     I had my birthday dinner at Lucca with a group of 8 people. The server was perfect with great recommendations, the cocktails were inventive and delicious, pizzas were great, and entrees were also very good as I had the pappardelle with duck. We finished with some great desserts, panna cotta, olive oil torta and chocolate gelato with dessert wine recommended by our server that was perfect. A perfect birthday meal. Great ambience and noise level as well.

    this is our favorite Portland restaurant. The very best. Food is always amazing and the staff is wonderful. Friendly, while being completely professional , knowledgeable, about the food and wine and very helpful. Couldn’t recommend it more.

    A perfect dinner (seated at counter) at Nostrana. Went on a Thursday - gnocchi night. I usually don’t choose gnocchi, but am now a convert - so pillowy and tender, and the clam sauce I chose was buttery, seasoned greatness. Our server was friendly, warm, and efficient and suggested an alternative wine by the glass that was from next door that was so good we bought a bottle to take home. Consistently amazing, and impressed my husband for date night.

    We went the day before Christmas Eve and it was the most amazing and memorable experience of a lifetime! We had just found out that my FIL has a very aggressive form of cancer and this was a memory none of us will ever forget. The six of us ordered about 9 HH apps and two entrees and everything was a 10/10! The food was the out of this world, our server was the most attentive we’d ever had, and the ambiance was quiet, exciting, and amazing the entire time. I highly recommend this tapas-style culinary experience of a lifetime!
