Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen.     Excellent dinner and service. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Servers were always ready to refill glasses and to bring bread. We could not recommend highly enough! Fantastic ambience!

    The food was lovely, if a bit uneven. The deboned roasted Sea Bass was tasty with two sauces (brown butter and black pepper) were perfect, but the cockles were tiny. Drinks were not fancy but of good value. Service was outstanding our server Ebon made us feel pampered.

    This was an amazing experience I really enjoyed the fact that from the moment you arrive they make it feel personal as if you and your guest as if you rented out the place.. every dish was explained in great culinary fashion and I love the way each server and host incorporated their knowledge of the dish being served. Hands down one of the premier experiences in the D.C area and a must for impressing any level of company you have. The value is very worth it but the experience is priceless..
