Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Los Alamitos / Cypress

No this isn't hot Texas or Cajunn style BBQ. It is sweet and yummy. The service is always terrific because the servers all act like they really enjoy working there. We have never had a touchy server or a ding bat! We probably eat dinner there once a week as our special treat. They also give you ample servings. We always walk away full and with a bag of delicious left overs. Family atmosphere, great music from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Right now they are playing Christmas music! My husband says they make the best Margaritas in town!

Everything was great except the water was in a hurried mode. It's a tea and things are usually a little slower pace. I feel like he almost skipped to each table he was in a hurry. Very nice guy, very pleasant. Just slow down a tiny bit.

Another great dinner at the Eldo! Strong drinks— including a brandy Alexander for my mother-in-law! Tasty, generously-portioned entrées were all big hits! Kudos to our friendly server Cole as well. Thanks to everyone at the Eldo!!

The waiter was very professional and well versed and experienced. The Halibut was a little dry but the 3 other meals were perfect. The seafood pasta was light in sauce and not overwhelming like other places. Just right and not too creamy. Salads were amazing Pricing was a little high mostly due to high alcohol costs. for example, the Rombauer should NOT be $40 a glass when you can buy a bottle of it at the store for that. We had 3 drinks and 4 cmplete meals without appetizers for $519. You can compare from there.

Tasty variation on the traditional with great flavors and presentation. I plan on dining here again soon!
