We were seated in a room normally used for large parties but that was in use for the weekend. It made for a very cozy enjoyable experience. Our server, Kayla, was very knowledgeable and attentive. Food was amazing. Fresh bread and shrimp cocktail with jumbo shrimp to start. Perfect crab bisque-so delicious! Husband had the Rib Eye, which was cooked to perfection, along with Yukon mashed potatoes and creamed corn with bacon. I had the lobster tail with the Yukon mashed potatoes and creamed corn with bacon. Too full for dessert! Perfect evening from start to finish. Very pleasant staff and wonderful food. Popcorn for early snack. Dinner in the timeless Steamboat room. Excellent and diverse menu. Food was very good. After dinner had a classic 60s trio band playing. Great sound. Was a great Valentine’s Day dinner. Only draw back was the service. Specifically the bar. Took forever to get a drink. Bar tender was surly with limited sense of urgency and lots of attitude. This was when the bar crowd was small. As the evening progressed it become significantly worse. I can’t imagine how much revenue was lost by the establishment due to these inefficiencies.
