It really set the tone, and the service is top notch. I will definitely be back!More infoTagliata RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Harbor East•4.8

Probably a total of 15 small plates. All were delicious and creative. Service and timing also impeccable.More infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- MmargaretWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWent for Christmas dinner. Foggy Bottom was one of the two locations that had the a’ la carte menu which was why I picked the location. It was a little crowded waiting for our reservation time and they were behind but we expected that and didn’t mind. There were three of us and we all were happy with our meals. We had wings and the corn bread skillet for appetizers. The wings were really good. I’m not a fan of corn in my cornbread but it still tasted good. I had fried shrimp with fries, coleslaw and corn bread. The shrimp and fries were really good. The coleslaw was a little blah. Our other two diners had a platter with ribs, cheeseburger sliders and fried chicken and coleslaw. They both loved theirs but also were not fans of the coleslaw. The staff was friendly and professional and fast. We enjoyed talking to them and the two different sets of patrons sitting beside us. We had a great Christmas dinner despite it not being an “traditional” Christmas dinner and would come back again.More infoFounding Farmers DC: Foggy BottomPrice: Moderate• American• Foggy Bottom•4.5

My daughter and I were quite surprised and disappointed by the lackluster greeting and overall experience when we walked in. The word "dismissive" comes to mind. Because our previous experiences were fabulous, I will look at this visit as a "one-off" one. Merry Christmas and a Happy 2025!!!More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8
- PPatriciaNew York City •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoWe had reservations, but the place was overcrowded, and we had to wait about an hour and a half to be seated. The entrance was packed, the line was out the door. We had our parents with us who are both 87 yrs old. They had to stand up for the entire wait to be seated. It was Christmas Eve, so that might have been the reason for the excessive wait. After we were seated, our server was prompt, polite, and quick to serve our needs. The only thing is there seemed to be a disarray in the kitchen. Our server went to get us the dinner rolls three times, and they never arrived, so no rolls with our dinner. Our appetizers were served quickly, but there was a very long wait for our dinner. The server was wonderful, and she did apologize several times for the delays. Overall, the food was delicious, and the only thing not so great was all of the waiting. Our entire meal with waiting took us over three and half hour to dine.More infoBy The DocksPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Essex•4.6
