Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Riverwoods

Another fantastic meal at Spears! The food, drink and service was again excellent! They usually meet or exceed our expectations, and that’s why we keep coming back! We love everything about this place!

This place is great. The food is awesome. The servers Sue & Antonio are the best. Their TOP NOTCH service is because they always come and check on you. Make sure you ask for Sue & Antonio and you’ll have one of the best nights ever at Eddie Merlot’s.

They were Late seating us even with a reservation. We had a reservation for 7 people @530pm. Some little kids with us too who wanted to eat!

Used to be my all time favorite restaurant. When we first started going to Wildfire, my horseradish crusted fillet was $36. It’s now $58. I’m sure it was at least 20 years ago, but that is one outrageous increase in price. It prevents us from going to the restaurant more often than we do. Now if we go once a year, it’s just a special treat. We used to go a lot more often. However, times, Covid, etc. are all reasons we can’t go more often anymore. I do believe the prices are totally outrageous. So sad.

We always seem to get the Mongolian Beef and the Sesame Chicken, preceded by egg rolls. As usual, the food was tasty, served hot, and quickly. Service was great, and Rosemary aptly helped us pick out the best pairings of noodles or rice. Prices are reasonable. One word of caution: the red onions in the chicken dish are potent. We'll be back.
