- SScottSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined todayIt was our first time at Nobu, and we weren't sure what to expect. We were impressed by both the food, and the service. The food quality was amazing. Each dish they brought out was like a little piece of art. The flavors were varied, unique, and delicious. It was one of the most enjoyable meals I can remember. Every Nobu employee we encountered was very friendly and professional. Our server, Andy, did a great job of guiding us through the overwhelming choices on the menu. "Gonzo" Gonzales made sure our drinks were topped up, and dishes were cleared away at just the right moment, without interrupting our conversation. This is a high-end dining experience, and priced accordingly. If you love food, and want a truly amazing experience, give Nobu Palo Alto a try.More infoNobu Palo AltoPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Palo Alto•4.6

The kitchen catered to our individual requests for modification such as dressing on the side or no onions or bell peppers The salads were very fresh and the grilled chicken was hot and moist - not always the case in other establishments. We did wait about 30 minutes for the salads to arrive. Sundance serves warm, fresh sour dough bread wit both butter and olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We had a birthday in our group and the waiter brought a complimentary slice of mud pie with a candle in it. We split it among us and it was delicious.More infoSundance The SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Palo Alto•4.8

Everyone from the host greeting us with a warm smile to David the manager introducing himself and offering his services as needed to our excellent server Hannah was a top notch employee. We felt like royalty as they took such great care of us. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all better than we could have dreamed of. You have to have the smoking manhattan from the bar. It was so tasty and the present was superb. If you are fortunate enough to have Hannah serving you, I promise you will have the best waitress in the business. We eat out often and over the 3 decades of doing so, I have never seen anyone better at what they do. We can’t wait to go back.More infoFleming's Steakhouse - Palo AltoPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Palo Alto•4.4

Favorite dishes include the spreads, the Evvia salad, Greek salad, avgolemono soup, anything with lamb and the whole fish. The pasta never disappoints and if you want a hearty dish their moussaka is the very best outside Greece.More infoEvviaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Palo Alto•4.8
