- PPhoebeWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoFarmers & Distillers is one of my "go to" restaurants for new employee welcome lunches. The service is fast, the employees are welcoming and the food is great; not too pricey! I recommend the Chinese Fried Chicken salad. It never disappoints. :-)More infoFounding Farmers & Distillers DC: ChinatownPrice: Moderate• American• Mount Vernon Square•4.4
- JJoshuavipWashington, D.C. Area •30 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe chose to eat at this restaurant because it was close to the Christmas markets that occurs in downtown. Washington DC seasonally. The restaurant is located inside of the Monaco hotel. we read a lot of things online about how great the food was, and it did not disappoint! The salmon, the butternut squash, and the rack of lamb were very impressive, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The bartender makes a pretty good old-fashioned as well.More infoDirty Habit | The Glass HousePrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Penn Quarter•4.4
- CChristinaWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy husband and I decided to celebrate Thanksgiving at The Smith, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The prix fixe menu was fantastic, and our server, Jaiho, made the night truly memorable with her enthusiasm and friendliness. We started with the kale salad and butternut squash soup. The kale salad was delicious, and I would happily eat it any day. The butternut squash soup had great flavors, though it was a bit thinner than we expected. For our main courses, we opted for the turkey pot pie and short ribs. The pre fixe menu included sides for the table, which were all super tasty but very filling! We couldn't resist the apple toffee bread pudding and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. They were both so tempting that we had to have at least one bite before asking for a box to bring them home. Overall, the Thanksgiving pre fixe meal was generous and tasty. The Smith's atmosphere and Jaiho's excellent service made our holiday celebration truly special. We'll definitely return, whether for another holiday or a casual meal!More infoThe Smith – Penn Quarter, Washington, D.CPrice: Expensive• American• Penn Quarter•4.5
