Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen.     I celebrated my birthday here and had an amazing experience! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was lively, and the music was fantastic. This restaurant is perfect for a birthday celebration, with a diverse crowd that created a great vibe. The food was delicious—we loved the appetizers—and the drinks were strong, so we didn’t need many. I highly recommend it!

    Had a great time at Old Ebbitt Grill! I got the hummus and falafel bowl which was fantastic and my husband enjoyed his Caesar salad. The staff was also very accommodating to my young children. I can’t wait to eat here again!

    My wife and I loved our visit to Zaytinya in DC! If you’re in downtown, you’ve got to check it out. They specialize in Greek, Lebanese, and Turkish food, and everything is meant to be shared, which makes it even more fun. The flavors were amazing, and the vibe was relaxed but still classy. Definitely try their mezze dishes—they’re so good!

    We’ve been to Huncho House a couple times and wanted to visit 1123. I love both, but the full service bar at 1123 is an added bonus. Sushi lovers would love this place. I had the fish and grints and the left overs are delic still! The chocolate cake was for dessert, delic as well. I’m moving out the area but when in town will return! Note, I am vegetarian, occasionally pescatarian when I eat out, no vegan options, but I came also for the amazing ambiance. Our waitress was Faith, loved her personality and she allowed me to hold some items to the side and customize my food a little. I didn’t ask for much. The flavors was on point!
