- DDeniseOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a wonderful waitress and cook. Delicious food and variety! Our big complaint - we had a 7:15 reservation and were seated at 7:45, we were served soup and salad quickly- 8:00-8:15. But the cook did not make it to our teppanyaki table until 10:00pm. If we had known we would be eating at 10pm on a 7:15 reservation we would not have seated. Tables seated after us had a cook before us. They kept promising us that the cook was coming, and then other tables would get a cook, but not us. the discrepancy was never explained. We were given a free appetizer of edamame while we waited. It was Thanksgiving, so it was very crowded at the restaurant. Still we would go back on a non-Holiday because when we did get service, it was great and the food was delicious.More infoBenihana - San Diego, CAPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Mission Valley•4.1
- MMaiaSan Diego •22 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFriend and I visited for the Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner. It was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the lamb shank, beef filet, and added the sweet potatoes. Our onion soup and blackened shrimp appetizer choices were delicious. The pumpkin cake and apple pastry desserts were so good. The overall standout was definitely the lamb shank. Unbelievably delicious. The wine list is incredible and we complemented dinner with a lovely Napa Cabernet. The service was excellent and absolutely what you would expect. Bill, was a delight and even took a few photos of us for my visiting friend. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving!More infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown•4.9

We didn’t have great luck with the clams, they were very chewy & overcooked but the broth was delicious. They took it back and a sweet manager, (I’m forgetting names) sent a hamachi that was to die for! Everything else that hit the table was delicious and we were very impressed. The bubbly and celebration desert was super appreciated as well. Honestly made my birthday dinner feel extra special, some places really don’t go the extra mile but they sure know how to impress.More infoHerb & WoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Little Italy•4.7
- BBarryvipSan Francisco Bay Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoGreat service and seating around the chef counter was a bonus. You can see all the cooking action right in front of you. The wagyu carpaccio was the highlight of the night. It just melts in your mouth. The organic pear salad was also great for sharing. However the aged duck breast and the dry-aged bone in ribeye had some tendons and chewy parts that is unable to swallow.More infoCowboy StarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.9
- JJessicaSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe ambiance here is so unique and beautiful! Airy, romantic, stylish and peaceful. And they let us bring our puppy. The food is simple but tasty and the value is one of the best in the city! We have been many times and will continue to come for brunch OR dinner! Today I loved the chai latte and white bean shakshuka. I always bring out of town guests to show it off.More infoMadisonPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• University Heights•4.5
