Tucked down a laneway, housed in an industrial building, you'll find our quirky pizzeria. Our vibe is super casual and we love to see our customers sharing pizzas, beers and enjoying life. Our space is ideal for large groups, but also for families and couples. Were all about the pizza! Pizza Napoletana is authentic pizza from Naples, and we make it according to the generations-old technique....with just a little of our own twists here and there. Our dough is made in-house and fermented for a minimum of 24hrs to create a tasty and light base - minimal yeast so no bloating here. Then its hand-stretched, topped with quality ingredients imported from Italy AND sourced locally, and cooked at a fiery 400 degrees.We do other stuff as well - starters, sharers, salads, homemade desserts, and gelato. Sails is always a really exceptional dining experience. Our experience this time was no exception. We enjoyed the sashimi entree, which we shared. We then had the Moreton Bay Bug and the seafood salad, which we also shared - scrumptious. Surprisingly we actually had two desserts, the chocolate pavlova and the masticated white peach. Both were delicious, but really the peach dish was outstanding in my view. Of course the food is only part of a great dining experience. At sails the outlook over the beach and the sense of being in a lovely space is also crucial. The attentive staff are also a vital component and at Sails the staff are very focused, friendly and helpful. Love this place for a late lunch or early dinner.
