We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there).     I recently visited Blacklock in Canary Wharf with three friends, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, and the service was truly exceptional. Our waiter, Marcell, was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Manager Angel also came by to check on us, adding a personal touch that we really appreciated. The food was top-notch—delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. From start to finish, everything was just fab! Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.

    Great food, great service. I’ve been in plimsoll before because their burger. I couldn’t come back with some friends to let them try it too. We got 5 burgers but at the end we ordered 3 more with extra cheese and at the end they were even better. My friend was looking for bacon but for me the crunchiness of meat was enough. Very good balance of flavours. I tried many burgers but probably this is the best in London. I was a bit sad realising they removed the green salad with walnuts from the menu cuz it was really good but I understand can be because the seasonal changes etc. Another must to try are the potatoes with aioli. We also got other dishes but I would say these 2 were the best. The pub was full but the service was fast. The kitchen is not big but they are very organised. Same with table service, we had some requests and the blonde girl who served us was really nice and patient haha I forgot to asked her name for the mention Overall a great experience! Thank you guys!
