XMAs parties made it a bit noisy, but nothing could detract from the quality of the food or the value. Twenty Seven has to be the best restaurant in the South West and Kingsbridge is lucky to have Jamie and his team. They are always trying something new to get diners through the door while never sacrificing quality. A lesson to other restaurants and pubs in the area who week in week out offer the same average food.while charging similar prices to Twenty Seven. Jamie operates in a higher stratosphere.. I urge everyone to to patronise it or we will loose this great restaurantMore infoTwenty Seven by Jamie RogersPrice: Expensive• British• Kingsbridge•4.8

- NNigelLondon •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoIf you’ve read anything about Stage at all before this, nothing I can say will come as a surprise. Stage comes across as a total labour of love for the guys running the show. They’re doing what drives them and what they clearly thoroughly enjoy. In the kitchen and front of house. The Taco Boys are on a mission and I felt extremely lucky to be able to go along for the ride with them. There is a total enthusiasm about their food and drinks which is genuinely infectious. The result is a fine dining experience at a non-exorbitant cost: all the enjoyment of creatively imagined, painstakingly sourced and prepared food, introduced to the table with relaxed, fun, and informative style and panache. I have no idea where it would be possible to experience the same levels of culinary ingenuity and sheer enjoyment at such good value for money. So it’s not over the top to use the word unique to describe what just happened. That wasn’t simply an excellent meal, we were actually blown away by the entire show.More infoStagePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Exeter•4.9
- DDDorset •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024A Gem of Hospitality and Flavor :) Millbrook is a true standout in the local dining scene. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with a warm and genuine welcome that sets the tone for the experience ahead. The hosting is impeccable, striking the perfect balance between attentive service and allowing guests to enjoy their meals at their own pace. Every dish on the menu speaks to the care and thought that goes into sourcing the finest ingredients. The seasonal offerings ensure that every plate is as fresh as it is flavorful, showcasing the best of what Fowlescombe farm and producers have to offer. Whether it’s a classic pub favorite elevated with a modern twist or a more adventurous special, the flavors are consistently impressive. The atmosphere is equally inviting, blending traditional pub charm with a touch of contemporary comfort. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed meal with friends or celebrate a special occasion. It sets a high standard for what a pub experience should be: exceptional food, outstanding service, and an unmistakable sense of hospitality. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality in every sense of the word.More infoMillbrook Inn, South PoolPrice: Expensive• British• Salcombe•4.6
