- RRICHARDLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI chose Shoals to celebrate my Wifes birthday after a sauna and dip in the sea at Shoalstone - I was blown away by the exceptional service, stunning views, and incredible food that truly impressed. The whole crew went above and beyond to make our dinner memorable. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a fantastic, friendly and atmospheric restaurant. Definitely a five-star rating from me! Big thanks to all at Shoals.More infoShoalsPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Brixham•4.8
- CChristineYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoIt is the second time we go to Stage as a family and the whole experience was amazing. The decor is simple yet comfortable and I loved all the black and white photos on the wall. I appreciated the cloth napkins. We went for the 6 course meal and the quality, variety and flavors were incredible. Portions were a good size and even my husband felt pleasantly full. I thought the waitress was very knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. Our only negative was how smoky it was, being an open kitchen and being close to it, so our eyes were a little watery as a result. It won’t stop us from coming again!!!!! I really liked not knowing what the menu was. We will be back in the spring or summer to experiment different tastes.More infoStagePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Exeter•4.9
- DDerekCornwall •1 review5.0Dined 6 days ago🎄We had dinner at The Tartan Fox on Christmas Day. The food was excellent , - well cooked and presented and the right quantities. Yummy veg., even the sprouts! My only disappointment was that the plum and ginger trifle on the online menu had been substituted for yet another chocolate dessert. Why do restaurants presume that everyone likes chocolate? The staff were lovely. I even queried whether they had been told to smile, - such was the excess of beaming faces, but was told it was because they are all so happy there! Brilliant, or had they been given a large glass of Christmas cheer? The ambience was good, not too many people crammed in, and jolly. My little dog was somewhat traumatised by the loud bangs of the crackers, but that was my fault for not thinking beforehand. Thank you for a joyous Christmas Day🍾More infoThe Tartan Fox by Adam HandlingPrice: Expensive• British• Newquay•4.8
- LLeeNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024Really had a good time here , friendly welcoming and attentive team of staff. The restaurant looks great , contemporary and fantastic views over Charleston harbour and with an excellent vibrant atmosphere. Our meals were simply superb, very high quality produce used especially the steaks. This has become a family Christmas tradition now because we all enjoy it here so much. Thanks to all the team there.More infoThe Longstore, CharlestownPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• St. Austell•4.6
- EElizabethDevon •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024We were well looked after, despite the late arrival of most of our party! We were not hurried or made to feel as though it was a problem. The meal was reasonably priced and all of our party enjoyed the food and the dining experience.More infoOcean View at The DomePrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• Plymouth•4.4
