Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Shinfield

We selected the superior Ivy experience menu which was very good though we thought not as good value for money as our previous visit soon after the branch opened. The booking was made several months ago thus we were surprised when offered seating on the lower floor which lacked any ambiance as we would have been the only diners. Quite surprisingly there were several large families with small children who were seated upstairs.I raised this with front desk and we were moved to upstairs seating as requested. There was also no recognition of it being a birthday celebration or the fact we had booked for the Ivy experience which seemed a bit disjointed. The excellent quality of food avoided any overall disappointment. A discretionary service charge of circa 13% had been added and when questioned the Staff were cooperative in revising this to our preferred tip which was more aligned considering the fairly high value of spend for our group

My second time at this wonderful Turkish Restaurant. A super place to eat, excellent menu and wine, superb service with very attentive staff!! Highly recommended!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my Christmas works party here so thought I'd go back for my birthday. The steaks are simply brilliant and is the main reason for returning, the sauces were yummy and sitting upstairs (having sat downstairs for the works do) was preferable - its warmer and more atmospheric. The heating was on and it was lovely and warm compared to the -1C outside. Our waiter was attentive and the food is always presented well. The only thing I'd change is the ability to buy their Masi Passo Malbec by the glass!

Plenty of delicious choices on the menu; all those we chose were extremely tasty and more than came up to expectations. This was our second visit here after a very good experience earlier in the year and we were certainly not disappointed. Everything, including the warm welcome and friendly, knowledgeable service and of course the superb food and drink was excellent and we can’t wait to return! A perfect way to start our Christmas celebrations.

Really enjoyable trip to The Ivy Windsor. We were a group of three who visited for breakfast. I had the avocado and poached eggs and two pots of decaffeinated tea. Good service (although a little slow when we were ready to leave). Very good food. I love the decor and the ladies toilets were spotless and had really unusual wallpaper. Would definitely visit again.
