Best Historic Restaurants in Westbrook

Consistently fantastic food and service! We love all the options Portland’s restaurants provide and visit many of them. Since we visited David’s twenty years ago, we’ve decided that is where we will go when family/friends visit because all ages and palates find something they want to eat (meatloaf, tuna sashimi, burger, sirloin, steak au poivre, garlic knots, brussle sprouts, and salads), and we can rely on the quality.

Street & Company is one of my favorite Portland restaurants! It is my "go to" birthday celebration for the Sole Francaise served in its copper pan! And once again it did not disappoint! I appreciated being able to substitute in the farro as I rarely eat potatoes. Always love the french green beans that accompany as so yummy with the sauce of the dish. I had a nice (large!) spinach salad with toasted pecans and buttermilk dressing, and the dessert of "spiced orange Crème Brûlée with raspberries" and 2 tiny yummy honey toffee bars was just amazing! My partner had the Damariscotta oysters, delicious scallops, and the vanilla bean Panna Cotta – with black currants dessert which he loved. Service was attentive. Highly recommend!

This is a very fine restaurant. Superior food in a comfortable, understated room. Wonderful pasta and unique flavors. Friendly, responsive service.

Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea at the Iron Side Whiskey Lounge in the Regency Hotel. Delicious sandwiches, excellent tea, and a relaxed atmosphere. Free valet parking was a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend!

I love having breakfast/brunch here. The food is always delicious, and the waitstaff is wonderful.
