Best Historic Restaurants in Uptown 23rd

Everyone really liked the chicken and Peruvian ribeye. Some of their food even when it didn't indicate it as spicy, was SPICY...So beware. The back of the restaurant near the bathrooms was extremely cold, including the bathrooms and there were not towels in the ladies restroom. Our waiter did his job, but always seemed in a hurry and didn't allow us to ask questions over the menu without feeling like we were putting him out. It isn't the cleanest looking environment. I think it is a younger persons place, and not the best first experience for two older couples.

Went early (4:45) for a birthday celebration before a Thunder game. We were able to be seated immediately and received our food quickly. Our server, Ben, was fantastic! The experience of being in the First National building is wonderful in and of itself, but to be behind the teller booths is cool. We ordered the Diavolo pizza to share, so the value of the experience was phenomenal. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially around Christmas, as the decor is breathtaking.

As always a great place for dinner with my wife and an old friend and his wife. The food was delicious. Atmosphere was great. We got to have a great meal and catch up after not seeing each other for decades.

Very welcoming as soon as you walk in. Great atmosphere over all. Our server Carson was top notch and very friendly and playful , he gave us a great experience. Servers besides him brining our food/ appetizers were also insanely nice. Food was DELICIOUS and I’m not a pizzeria kind of person. The dessert was one of the best I’ve ever had and my boyfriend and I will be making this place our regular spot. 100/10 definitely recommend. Big shout out to Rudy for recommending this place to me.

We made reservations for 6pm, but didn’t need them because there were plenty of tables on this Thursday evening. We had perfect service. The food was delicious and had a “homemade from scratch” taste. The short rib came with asparagus risotto. The meat was perfectly tender and flavorful, and the risotto was the best I’ve ever tasted. I would definitely order it again. We also ordered the lemon honey roasted half chicken with a side of the same asparagus risotto. Again, it was delicious. My daughter had the pesto pasta that came with a generous sprinkling of roasted hazelnuts. She added chicken to the pesto pasta and said that it was very good. We’ll be back. It’s a perfect walk to the Lyric Theatre across the street.
