The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. We loved Monterey! It’s a lovely restaurant conveniently located near lots of Midtown attractions. The food and beverage presentations were impressive. We had the prime rib special and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. For dessert, the Bananas Foster was prepared table side. The presentation and taste were amazing. We can’t wait to return.

We are huge Hamilton fans and came here because of the connection not really sure what to expect. It blew us away. The food was great. The history and ambience was amazing. Our teenage boys loved it as well. I highly recommend the soup and grilled cheese sandwich with bacon. We would definitely come back again.

Our dinner at the Russian Tea Restaurant was a mix of highs and lows. The food was undeniably delicious, showcasing rich flavors and excellent preparation. However, the kaviar tasting felt significantly overpriced for what was offered. Service was another weak spot—our server took an unusually long time to take our orders and came across as unfriendly at first, which put a damper on the experience. Despite these issues, the quality of the food redeemed the evening to some extent.
