Our head chef and owner Jason Carron has revolutionized the New England restaurant community for two decades. Having given hope to hundreds of restaurants over the years, Carron is opening his first steakhouse this spring, bringing that same level of attention to his own restaurant. Every ingredient is well thought out to innovate the plate with not only something aesthetically pleasing, but more importantly delicious. His farm to table approach, ensures the highest level of ingredients go into every meal you enjoy. Please note our dress code: No gym wear, hooded sweatshirts, shorts, or ball caps are to be worn. Margeaux Supper Parlor presents a novel way to experience dinner by telling stories through cuisine. Guests are encouraged to order a themed trio of dishes, larger than tapas and smaller than big plates, to better experience the menu and recreate the familial bonhomie we associate with supper at grandma’s (when you were urged to try a bite of everything!). Recommended wine pairings are served in collections to mirror the entree trios. Margeaux Supper Parlor serves New American cuisine, blending dishes inspired by the two most historic port cities in the country: New Orleans and Boston. Dinner plates include: Tomato & Bacon Jam Deviled Eggs (topped with a fried Maine oyster), Lamb Lollipops with cherry reduction, Pumpkin Ravioli, Beef Wellington, Shrimp & Boursin Grits, and Maple Bourbon Steak Tips.Brunch is also served in themed collections and includes items such as: Quiche Lorraine, Fried Chicken & Sweet Corn Waffle, Eggs Benedict, and a Black Forrest Waffle.

From start to finish our meal at Post was perfect. Our server Luis was outstanding. He provided us with detailed explanations of our selections and guided us through our order. Steak was top shelf, and both the Scallop dish and Crab Cakes were outstanding. Why drive to Boston when we have so many great steakhouses on the North Shore!

We had to wait for our table despite making a reservation and ended up taking the bar seats. However, we had a lovely bar experience. The bartenders are welcoming and are quickly able to provide help with the menu. We love the idea that you can get 3 sample portioned entrees to make up a meal. We did the fox and knife collection with the wine pairing for that collection, and then did a la carte 1 sampler from the other 3 collections (lollipop lamb, pumpkin ravioli and shrimp and grits). Everything was delicious and flavorful. Dessert was the rhubarb pie - buttery, flaky, sweet and tart! Chef’s kiss!

Excellent ambience — romantic, upscale, charming. Great menu. Best neighborhood to walk around after dinner. Take note: on the website, they list their address (accurately) as Charles St. in Boston but also show a location on the map that is 15 minutes away in Charlestown. There is no reason for that, it is a mistake and causes confusion. The restaurant needs to correct that mistake.

Food was very good. Disappointed that the 80s music started one hour after advertised. We planned our reservation according to the schedule.

I love Vintage Tea and Cake! It's a charming, warm and friendly setting for gathering with friends and enjoying a calm, delicious break over lovely finger sandwiches, scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and delicious sweet treats. Plus an extensive variety of teas and bubbles, if you wish! I warmly recommend Vintage Tea and Cake!
