Long before the farm-to-table trend invaded America, Louisa’s espoused this philosophy, and served food to match. The tiny-but-iconic eatery was established in 1980 and has been dishing out incredibly fresh and delicious food in the small historic yellow building ever since. The menu is all regional fare — fish caught from the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay, plus vegetables, fruits, herbs (and beautiful fresh flowers) from West Cape May’s Beach Plum Farm, augmented by produce from other New Jersey farms. The kitchen philosophy is to cook simple, expertly seasoned dishes that are lovingly prepared and made from fresh, first-rate ingredients. The menu changes often but the one constant you’ll find here is the dedication to a great dining experience.

We chose The Ebbitt Room to celebrate Christmas! The restaurant was beautifully decorated, the staff was friendly and the food was excellent. We had the king salmon, the cioppino and the lamb shank. All 3 entrees were very flavorful and nicely plated. For dessert we shared the donuts and cinnamon ice cream. Both were enjoyable. The Ebbitt Room is one of Cape May’s finest restaurants!

We had not been to Louisa’s in many years in spite of having a home here. We were very happy to rediscover it! The scallops and flounder were both delicious. Service was also great. It’s a small, intimate little BYOB. It’s happily back on our regular list !

We've been dining at Union Park for decades. We love everything about it. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent and, especially if you're staying at the Macomber, the location can't be beat. The manager, Bob, is very flexible. If he can accommodate your request, he will.
