Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. A “Link” was installed on one railcar then, as the two railcars were joined, a “Pin” was manually inserted into the other railcar’s link, holding the two railcars together.     This was an excellent special event hosted by McNinch House with wine pairings from Laure Levesque of Queen of Wines in Durham. It was a fun social event along with great food, wine, and service. McNinch House is always Charlotte's premier restaurant and keeps getting better. We love coming here.

    We had a party of five for Saturday brunch, but at the last minute, we changed to a party of seven. Despite it being a very busy day, the hostess was fantastic—she found a table to accommodate us without hesitation and with a warm smile. Her effort made our experience even better

    The food was amazing. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and they gave him a birthday gift and they gave said a free dessert and a free side of potatoes. The service was great and it was a very romantic place to have dinner. We will definitely be coming back.

    We got in and were seated immediately. After taking a look over the menu, it was hard to decide since everything sounded so good. We ended up getting the jimmy chopped salad, smoked octopus, rigatoni, cavatelli nero, pumpkin pie, and chocolate gateaux. The best was the octopus, salad, and chocolate gateaux. The pasta’s were perfectly al dente and seasoned well!

    Everything was great. My only suggestion is to add more lighting to small corner tables with no sconces above them. It was hard to read the menu with just a tea candle and enjoy seeing my food color & presentation.
