Kudos to whoever hung the garland on the outside columns, so symmetrical and well done, a grand holiday entrance providing a warm festive welcome! The second pianist we heard that evening was absolutely wonderful, he played beautifully and he sang with a light heart. He interacted with the crowd in a non intrusive way that enabled the diners not only to enjoy their food but to make casual musical requests and really enjoy the music as well. I could see that he was reading the room and playing more of the style he saw folks enjoying. I especially loved his riff that gently melded into a beautiful rendition of Let it snow, it made the cold December night sparkle with joy!More infoFraunces TavernPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.6

The food and beverage presentations were impressive. We had the prime rib special and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. For dessert, the Bananas Foster was prepared table side. The presentation and taste were amazing. We can’t wait to return.More infoMontereyPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown East•4.5
- KKaraVIPWashington, D.C. Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAbsolute perfection! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The chairs at our table were some of the most comfortable chairs we have ever sat on during a dinner! For dinner, we had the burrata and shrimp appetizer - YUM! We all got filet mignon and the Caesar salad with filet for main meal and it was truly scrumptious. For dessert, we got the banana split and the cookies with ice cream. Service was impeccable and our teenage kids wanted to go again the next evening.More infoRH Rooftop Restaurant New YorkPrice: Moderate• American• West Village•4.7
- JJaneLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoIf you want a real treat, look no further. From the wonderfully presented drinks at the bar, to the amazing waiting staff (shout out to Toni) to the sumptuous food, we couldn’t fault it. The ambience was old school. We shared a seafood platter for 4 to start. It was 10/10. 2 of us had the lamb chops (best I’ve ever tasted) & 2 had the steaks (delicious) and we ordered creamed spinach and whipped potatoes. We had just enough room for deserts and coffee. We never felt rushed and nothing was too much trouble. What a wonderful dining experience we had.More infoSmith & Wollensky - New YorkPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.6

The food was undeniably delicious, showcasing rich flavors and excellent preparation. However, the kaviar tasting felt significantly overpriced for what was offered. Service was another weak spot—our server took an unusually long time to take our orders and came across as unfriendly at first, which put a damper on the experience. Despite these issues, the quality of the food redeemed the evening to some extent.More infoRussian Tea Room - NYCPrice: Very Expensive• Continental• Midtown West•4.3
