- PPatriciaSan Diego •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI love the beautiful Christmas decorations La V has each year. The service was wonderful— real old-fashioned courtesy— and ambience was very nice, if a little noisy. Tablecloths would dampen the noise. My only issue is that La V has has the same lunch menu for ages. It’s time for a change.More infoMediterranean Room - La Valencia HotelPrice: Expensive• American• La Jolla•4.4

- KKelseySan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoGreat spot to pop in for drinks/appetizers. More of a tapas style dining experience than a full dinner entree spot, but the quality of the food and the atmosphere is worth it! Our server was extremely attentive, welcoming, and friendly. The caesar "twinkie" salad and kale salad were to die for--probably some of the best salads I've ever had. The potato gnocchi and the whipped ricotta were also incredible. For the portion size, the price is on the high end, but great spot to visit during the holidays as it's connected to La Valencia Hotel, which is magical at Christmas!More infoThe Whaling BarPrice: Expensive• Californian• La Jolla•4.5
- CDChanaDSan Francisco Bay Area •32 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoParadiseae exceeded my expectations in every way - food, ambience and service were first class. I was especially impressed that the chef created custom vegan and pescatarian multi-course meals so that we could all enjoy the Chef’s menu. Everyone loved the creative and delicious food and cocktails. Will definitely come back if we’re in town again. Tip for vegans: contact the restaurant in advance so they can accommodate.More infoParadisaeaPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• La Jolla•4.7

We then had the bistro and celery salad, always a great choice, very tasty. The pork croquettes are delish.
