- DDanielOttawa •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best meals and dining experiences we've had anywhere. My wife and I, and a few friends visited after we had eloped at Jobson's Cove an hour prior. The staff was fantastic, drinks were amazing and the food was perfect. Most of us had steaks, cooked to perfection. Every bite truly delicious. After learning we were coming from our elopement, the staff all signed a card, announced us as newlywed to the other guests to make us feel special, surprised us with a dessert, and even found us at our resort afterwards to return a wedding memento we had left behind by accident. Can't say enough good things about our experience there. We count ourselves very lucky to have chosen to go to The Waterlot for our first dinner as a married couple.More infoThe Waterlot - Fairmont SouthamptonPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Southampton•4.8

- JJamesNew York City •58 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Always hesitate to leave a positive review because it only means a favorite eating place will get even more jammed. That said, we like coming to the Public House. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is plentiful and generally quite delicious. Julia our server was especially friendly, but without intruding. After taking our orders, she checked back several times to see if everything was ok and/or if we needed anything more. (On other occasions, Marsha has been great, but she does not work on Saturdays). The food was good. New England Clam Chowder. French Onion Soup & Chopped Wedge Salads were delicious. Wings were good; Chicken Picatta less so because the lemon sauce with capers tasted definitely like an add on instead of being infused into the chicken. All in all, however, it was another good evening... and a good dinner. We'll be back!More infoSouthampton Publick HousePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Southampton•4.5
